Tried a local food pantry's meal planning guide and it actually worked

Got a free sheet from St. Mary's church on how to stretch 5 ingredients into 3 meals. Turns out I was just buying random stuff without a plan. Anyone else find free resources like this actually helpful?

Oh man yeah. I started just bulking everything with rice or beans. Saves a ton.

A little planning goes a long way, doesn't it? I've had the same experience with those church handouts, they really do save you money and stress.

Oh man, it really does! I started doing the same thing with lentils and oats, honestly life changing. I used to stress so much about meal prep until I just accepted that some weeks are gonna be beans and rice and thats totally fine. It's wild how much less I spend now, even just swapping one or two pricier ingredients makes a huge difference.
