That lady at the library told me to just unplug my router for 10 seconds...
My internet was dropping every 20 minutes for like two weeks. I was about to call Comcast and pay for a service visit. Some older woman at the library told me to unplug the router for a full 30 seconds instead of the usual 10. I thought she was nuts but I tried it last night. It actually fixed the problem completely. Has anyone else gotten advice from a random stranger that actually worked better than the standard fix?

Bet they just never updated the firmware and the full reset cleared the cache. Always worth trying the weird version of the standard fix first.
