Overheard a neighbor say 'I don't know who to ask' about fixing their fence

It was just a quick chat over the weekend, but it made me realize how many people don't know where to start with local help. Has anyone set up a simple neighborhood contact list for stuff like this?

We started a Google Sheet last year after the big storm when everyone needed tree work. It's just names and numbers for reliable plumbers, electricians, and handymen. I printed copies for the older folks who don't use computers. It saves so much time, and you avoid those random guys who overcharge. We even have a section for neighbors who are good at specific things, like my husband who fixes lawnmowers.

Maybe a printed list is nice, but I feel like it gets outdated fast.

How do you handle updates on that Google Sheet when someone finds a new good contractor or has a bad experience with one on the list? I love the idea of a living list, but keeping it current seems like the hardest part. You'd need a way for people to actually report back, otherwise the printed copies become a problem.
