Just realized I wasted $80 on a 'community help' webinar that was basically a sales pitch

I signed up thinking it was about building better volunteer programs, but the whole hour was just pushing their expensive software. Has anyone found a good free resource for this stuff instead?

Ugh that's the worst, I fell for the same thing last year with a "free nonprofit tech tools" workshop. Spent 45 minutes just hearing about their $100/month platform, it felt so slimy lol. I've had way better luck just searching for pdf guides from university extension programs, they usually have solid free templates for volunteer handbooks and stuff. The whole "webinar as a sales pitch" model needs to just die already.
