Appreciation post: Hit 37 identical 'lost cat' flyers posted in my neighborhood this week alone.
It's gotten so absurd that I'm starting to wonder if we're all just posting pictures of the same very busy, very social cat... anyone else's local message boards flooded with this stuff?

Honestly that's a good sign people are trying. Tbh a lost pet is terrifying and plastering the neighborhood is what you're supposed to do. Maybe it just shows a lot of caring pet owners live around you.

Totally get what you're saying, @craig.tessa. Seeing all those flyers always makes my heart sink for the owners. It really is the right thing to do, even if it looks messy for a while. I'd rather see a neighborhood covered in signs than think no one was looking for their lost dog or cat. Shows people actually give a damn about their furry family members.
