Was dead set against programmable thermostats in a pro kitchen until I saw the gas bill.
Swapped to a simple programmed schedule for the ovens and charbroilers in my Nashville spot, and our gas bill dropped by about $200 the first month. Has anyone else seen actual savings from stuff they thought was a gimmick?

The temp sensor on my old Bakers Pride oven was off by 40 degrees till I got a cheap oven thermometer to check it. Fixed the whole burnt batch problem.
