Remember when every kitchen had a big steam table?
We ran a 50 seat diner for years with a massive old steam table that took up half the line. Switched to a set of small, countertop induction warmers last year and our ticket times dropped by 20% because we could move faster. Anyone still using the old steam setup, or has everyone moved on?
Oh man, that reminds me of the time I saw someone try to lift a vending machine that was just slightly off. Like, they thought it was unplugged but it wasn't. The sound it made scraping the floor was awful.
