Ice machine gave up at 2 PM on a Saturday...

Our Manitowoc ice machine just quit mid-shift last weekend during a 200-cover dinner rush. Ended up hauling bags from the gas station down the street, anyone found a reliable fix for the condensation drip line getting clogged?

Man, I feel your pain on that one. Had a similar thing happen with a commercial fridge at a friend's diner (he was pulling his hair out, totally frantic). We ended up using a turkey baster to blow out the clogged drip line, which felt ridiculous but actually worked surprisingly well. Then we spent the next hour drilling holes in the line tray with a tiny bit to help water escape, you know, hoping gravity would do its thing. Still had to run to the corner store for bags of ice ourselves, though, because the damage was already done. It's always something stupid like a drip line, not even the compressor or anything serious.

@morgan_butler ever check if the drip line froze over? A turkey baster might not cut it then.
