Fixed my walk-in cooler icing up by moving the temp probe 4 inches
Our walk-in cooler at the sandwich place kept icing over on the coil every 3 or 4 days, and I was defrosting it with a heat gun at 6am more times than I want to admit. Turns out the temp probe was mounted right next to the door and reading warm air every time someone walked in, so the compressor never cycled off long enough to let the defrost finish. Moved it about 4 inches toward the back wall, and it's been clear for 6 weeks straight now, so has anyone else run into a probe location being the whole problem?
