That salvage job off the Keys where we found the wrong ship

Honestly, we spent a whole week in Florida looking for a sunken fishing boat that went down in a storm. Our coordinates were spot on, but when we got down there, it was a different wreck, some old wooden hull from like the 1920s. The client was not happy about the extra survey time. Has anyone else had a target just not be where the papers said it was?

Heard a story from a buddy who was looking for a small plane in a lake. They had the flight path and everything. Dove down and found a car, a really old one, just sitting there on the bottom. Totally threw off their whole schedule. Papers are wrong more often than you'd think.

Wow, that's a wild mix-up, @joseph932. I guess old records really can send you on a total wild goose chase. Must have been a real shock to see a car down there instead.

Wait they had the whole flight path and still found a car? That's crazy. Makes you wonder how the car even got there in the first place, like who drives a car into a lake and nobody knows. I'd be so mad after gearing up for a plane search. Just shows you can't trust old records at all lol.
