A hat diver in Galveston said my bailout was too slow and it ate at me for a month
I was doing shallow dock work and figured a quick bailout check was enough, until an old hat diver on the pier in Galveston watched me run one and said flat out that it took too long. I timed it after that and he was right, I was at 11 seconds when it should be under 5. Turned out I had the valve cracked a hair and my hose routing was junk, so I reran everything and now I drill it dry before every job. Anyone else get called out like that and actually change their setup over it?
