TIL my pull list method was backwards after one swap at the LCS

I compared picking up my books weekly versus waiting 4 weeks and grabbing them all at once, and the single trip saved me about 30 bucks since I dropped impulse buys. Has anyone else tried batching their pulls like that, or does the waiting drive you nuts?

Batching is the only way to go, batch or bust. That weekly grind just bleeds money from your wallet, trust me. You see one cool cover on the rack, then a variant, then a random back issue, and bam there goes your budget. Waiting a month actually makes the pickup feel like a real event too, like a mini payday. Plus you get to binge read everything at once instead of those tiny five minute cliffhangers every week. The urge to peek is real for the first couple weeks, I won't lie, but it fades once you set a routine. Your wallet will thank you and your long box will look a lot more sane.
