Stop calling every fan theory 'canon' just because it sounds cool
I was at a shop in Portland last month and this guy spent 15 minutes explaining why a 30 year old background character was secretly the main villain, then got mad when I said it wasn't confirmed. I know speculation is fun, but blurring the line between actual story and fan guesswork ruins discussions for new readers. Has anyone else had to walk someone back from treating a Reddit thread like a comic script?
