Shoutout to my local comic shop's pull list over digital subscriptions, and it's not even close
I switched to Comixology in 2019 to save space in my one bedroom in Austin, then went back to a paper pull list at my shop 3 months ago and the difference in how much I actually read is huge. Anyone else find they finish way more books when they're sitting on the coffee table staring at them?
Is it weird that my unread digital pile is basically a graveyard at this point? I did the same thing, bought a bunch of stuff on sales during the pandemic and I swear I read maybe four of them. Something about a book I can actually hold makes my brain go "ok this is real, sit down and read it" instead of scrolling past it on a tablet. My pull list is small, like five books, but I read every single one the week it comes out. The digital stuff just sits there and judges me in silence, ha.
