Serious question, has a comic shop ever just completely made your day?

Last Tuesday, the owner of Legends in Springfield saw me looking at a beat-up copy of X-Men #129 and just gave it to me, saying 'a fan should have it.' That random act of kindness has stuck with me all week. What's the nicest thing that's ever happened to you at a shop?

I mean, I've definitely been that fan who bought some weird stuff just because it felt right. You nailed it, @the_finley. My bank account still hasn't forgiven me for that glow-in-the-dark poster.
