Rant: The exact moment I hit 500 issues in my collection felt weird

I was just sorting through my long boxes last weekend, not really paying attention, and decided to actually count everything. Hit exactly 500 issues... and it honestly didn't feel as cool as I thought it would. Half of them are just filler issues from the 90s that I grabbed for a dollar each at a shop in Portland. Is there a point where you realized quantity doesn't matter as much as having a few key story arcs you actually love? I'm thinking of selling off the junk.

Honestly, hitting a round number like 500 does feel kinda hollow sometimes. Tbh I had a similar moment when I hit 1,000 issues and realized about 300 of them were just random Batman variants I bought because the cover looked cool.

Stared at my first 100 comics and realized 80 were just Wolverine solo issues.
