Pulled my old X-Men comics out of storage last month and found a surprise

I was digging through my mom's attic in Houston (you know, the dreaded family storage purge) and found my old long box of X-Men comics from the 90s. I had this vague memory of owning a few key issues, but when I actually checked the prices online I was floored. Turns out my copy of Uncanny X-Men #266 (that's the first Gambit appearance) is going for about $80 in the condition I've got it. I never thought those floppy comics I bought at 7-Eleven would be worth anything real. Has anyone else here accidentally stumbled onto a valuable back issue they forgot about?

Guess that 7-Eleven run was a better investment than my crypto wallet.

Hey, just a heads up - Uncanny X-Men #266 is actually the first full appearance of Gambit, but his first cameo was in Uncanny X-Men Annual #14 from 1990. Still a nice find though, $80 for a random attic pull is pretty sweet!
