My LCS guy asked me why I bag and board every single issue, and I couldn't give him a real answer
Stopped by my local shop in Cleveland last Tuesday to grab my pull list and the owner, Dale, watched me bagging books at the counter like I always do. He asked when was the last time I actually pulled one out to re-read, and I just stood there because the honest answer is years. I've got 9 long boxes where half the runs are sealed tight and I could not name a single issue I've gone back to. It made me realize I've been collecting the hobby of protecting comics more than the hobby of reading them. Anyone else ever catch themselves doing this, or am I the only one who needs to loosen up?
