Looking back at my first comic con photos from the 90s

Honestly, I was digging through some old boxes and found pics from my first comic con. Tbh, it's wild how cons have gotten so huge and corporate compared to the small, fan-run events back then. Ngl, do you think the bigger scale has made it better or worse for meeting other fans?

Man, I feel that. It's way harder to actually meet people now with how packed and busy everything is.

@paule53 you say it's way harder to meet people now. I totally disagree. Packed places are where connections happen. Think about a full coffee shop, easy to talk while waiting. Or a busy park, join a pickup game. More crowds mean more faces to see. You just need to speak up.
