Pro tip: I quit using plastic zip bags for storing my hubcaps and switched to old pillowcases
I used to stack my spare hubcaps and trim rings in those big clear zip bags, but after a set of 4 from a '67 Impala got scuffed up in my garage in Fresno, I tossed all of them. Now I slide each one into an old pillowcase and hang them on a pegboard, and last month I pulled out a '65 Galaxie cap that looked like the day I bought it for $40 at a swap meet. The fabric breathes too, so no more foggy moisture spots on the chrome. Anyone else got a cheap trick like this, or am I the only one raiding the linen closet?

Could you add a cedar block inside each pillowcase for extra rust protection?
