Serious question, did anyone else fix their city's pothole problem with a $12 bag of cold patch
There's a stretch on 5th Ave near the old Kmart here in Tacoma where I bent a rim twice in 8 months, and the city's response was basically a shrug. So I grabbed a $12 bag of cold patch from the hardware store on a Sunday and filled the worst two holes myself in about 40 minutes. They've held up through 3 months of rain now, which is longer than I expected. Is it just me or is DIY road repair weirdly the most effective thing a regular person can do?
