My neighbor's leaf blower went off at 6AM last Saturday
Was trying to sleep in after a late shift. He started blowing every single leaf off his driveway for 45 minutes straight. Walked over and asked him to wait until 9. He got defensive. Called the complex manager instead.

My neighbor two doors down just got a warning from the property manager for vacuuming at 11pm. I guess the city council here in Austin passed something last month about quiet hours starting at 10 on weeknights. My buddy works late shifts so he's always worried about mowing on Sundays when everyone's trying to sleep. I don't see how they can enforce it though unless someone calls the cops every time. What's the fine supposed to be for this kind of thing anyway?
