Walked into a third-wave coffee shop in Detroit and the barista asked if I wanted my pour-over 'bloomed' - three minutes later I had a $7 cup of coffee that tasted like blueberry pie.

Has anyone else run into this super fancy coffee scene where they treat brewing like a science experiment, or am I just late to the game?

Wait, blueberry pie flavored coffee ACTUALLY exists?

Oh yeah, @kevinc84, it's out there. Though I gotta say, "blueberry pie" usually just means they dumped some syrup in the beans and called it a day.
