Rant: my grinder burr went dull 3 weeks after I replaced it, is it my beans or is it the burr itself
Replaced the burrs on my old Encore in early June and by the end of the month shots were running 5 seconds slower and tasting flat, even at the same grind setting. Part of me blames the cheap dark roast I grabbed from the corner store in Tucson, but my gut says the burr set was just a bad batch. Did I mess up breaking them in, or do burrs really go soft that quick?
