Picked up a manual grinder finally after 5 years with an electric one

I mean, I used to just hit the button on my Cuisinart and call it a day. Got a 1Zpresso JX last month and the coffee taste is way cleaner now. It takes like 2 extra minutes in the morning which I was worried about but honestly it's kind of nice. Has anyone else noticed a big jump in flavor switching to manual?

You probably could have kept using the Cuisinart and nobody would have noticed the difference in a blind taste test.

Are you saying the difference between a standard Cuisinart and something like a KitchenAid Pro Line is all in people's heads then? Because I've used both and the KitchenAid definitely felt like it handled heavy doughs better without straining the motor. Does the texture of the finished recipe really come out the same to you?
