My Tuesday morning pour-over went completely sideways

I woke up early last Tuesday, ground 18 grams of beans fresh, boiled water to exactly 200 degrees. Then I knocked my entire mug off the counter and it shattered on the tile floor. Coffee grounds and glass everywhere, took me 20 minutes to clean up. Has anyone else had a morning where your coffee routine just falls apart before you even get a sip?

Full-on faceplant" is right, @jennifer_mitchell53. But honestly, I think your Tuesday was just warming up. My worst coffee disaster was when I did a pour-over into a thermos that I forgot to open the lid on. Hot water and grounds exploded everywhere, sprayed across my whole kitchen counter and onto the ceiling somehow. I was picking coffee grinds out of my hair for the rest of the day. It looked like a crime scene in there. And the worst part is I had to start all over again because I didn't even get a drop in my cup.
