Heard a barista in Asheville say they never pre-heat their ceramic mugs
They said it cools the coffee down to a drinkable temp faster, which actually makes a lot of sense for a busy cafe. I tried it at home with my morning brew and it was perfect by the time I added cream. Do you guys pre-heat your cups or is that just an extra step?

Honestly, that's a game changer. I used to always pre-heat and my coffee was always too hot to touch. Skipping it lets it cool down to the perfect sipping temp way faster.
