Tried a Python bootcamp vs. self-study for 3 months, here's what happened

I signed up for a $200 online bootcamp after struggling with free tutorials for weeks, and honestly the structure helped but the pace was way too fast. Did anyone else find that bootcamps skip over the boring basics you actually need?

The bootcamp thing is real, my buddy tried one and said they flew through loops and conditionals like nobody's business. What actually clicked for me was sticking with freeCodeCamp's old curriculum - it's boring but you actually type everything out yourself and it sticks better.

Bootcamps work fine for people who need structure and deadlines, freeCodeCamp just takes too long.
