Shoutout to the VS Code 'Live Server' extension for HTML practice

I was opening my HTML files directly in the browser for ages, but Live Server auto-refreshes the page every time I save. Anyone have other extensions that made starting out easier?

It's funny how we put up with the manual way of doing things for so long before finding the simple fix. That auto refresh feels like magic once you get used to it.

Actually @andrew854, that magic feeling fades pretty fast for me. Then you just notice when it's broken or slows things down. The manual way at least kept you in control.

Whoa wait, @harper_wright you actually LIKED manually refreshing? I had to reload my HTML file like fifty times a day when I was learning and it drove me nuts. The auto refresh in Live Server saved me from getting carpal tunnel from all those F5 presses. Can't imagine going back to the stone age on that one.
