Just found out the first computer programmer was a woman in the 1840s
I read about Ada Lovelace and her work on the Analytical Engine in a library book last week. Has anyone else come across a historical fact that changed how you see coding?

Ada Lovelace is a great example. It's wild how often women's early contributions to tech get left out of the story. Reading about the ENIAC programmers, who were all women, hit me the same way. Makes you question which other pioneers we've been taught to forget. History's a lot messier than the usual timeline of guys in garages.

I just read about how Hedy Lamarr invented frequency hopping tech too.
