Shoutout to the forum for helping me nail my home CNC project

I've been tinkering with a small CNC mill in my shed for hobbies. Last month, I got the idea to make a set of wooden puzzles for my niece. I used some maple and a 1/4 inch bit, but the corners were tearing out bad. I was about to give up when I remembered this place. Someone mentioned using a climb cut instead of conventional, and it made all the difference lol. Now the puzzles look crisp and she loves them. I'm thinking of trying something more complex next. What's the coolest thing you've made off the clock?

Oh man, climb cutting is a total game changer! I had the same rough cut issue with some coasters until I switched to a downcut bit. That first clean pass felt like magic. Your niece is gonna get so many cool puzzles now

Climb cut's good, but @kai83's downcut bit idea is even better for clean edges.
