I stopped running my roughing passes dry on 4140 and my insert life went from 2 hours to 9
Everyone at my shop swears dry is faster on 4140 but I tried flood coolant on a whim last month and the inserts stopped chipping on the corners. Anyone else running coolant on 4140 or am I just burning money on the pump?
