Dropped $400 on a new tool presetter and it's already collecting dust

I mean, I thought it would speed up my setup time on the Haas but it takes longer to calibrate the thing than just touching off tools manually. Anyone else regret buying fancy gear that just sits in the drawer?

Used to be the same way about tooling. Thought I was just being practical, but now I'm wondering if I'm missing out on stuff that actually works. Guess some gear just ain't worth the hassle, huh?
