TIL my town's new bike lane made my 2 mile drive to the grocery store longer, and I walked it instead
So my city in Ohio put in this protected bike lane on Main Street last month and took out a car lane to do it. I got stuck behind some slow traffic on Saturday and my usual 2 mile grocery run took 15 minutes instead of 8, so I just parked and walked it out of spite. Here's the weird part, I actually liked it, and now I've done it 4 times this month. Has anyone else had a bike lane annoy them at first and then win them over?
