Thought those 'green' cleaning products were marketing fluff till my kid got rashes

I was super skeptical about swapping to eco friendly cleaners, figured it was just a way to charge triple. But after my 3 year old kept getting red patches on his arms after wiping the kitchen floor, I switched to a $6 bottle of Dr. Bronner's. Within a week the rashes went away completely. Has anyone else had a similar experience with regular cleaners causing skin issues?

Have you tried swapping out just your dish soap first before the heavy cleaners? That was my wakeup call - switched to a simple castile soap for dishes and pots, and my hands stopped cracking and bleeding in the winter. Turns out the regular stuff has way more harsh surfactants than I realized. My grocery store started stocking a refill station for eco friendly soap last year, been refilling the same bottle for months now, saves money and no more skin flare ups.

Damn, a 3 year old getting rashes just from wiping the floor is wild.
