Just realized my reusable grocery bags are causing more hassle than they save
I had to choose between bringing my own bags to the store or using their paper ones, and after a month of forgetting them in the car, I went back to paper. The paper bags double as recycling bins for me now, so it's actually working out better. Anyone else find that their eco-friendly habits sometimes backfire in weird ways?

Paper bags make great craft paper for the kids too. I cut them up for painting projects and wrapping gifts. Sometimes the old ways just work better for certain stuff.

Yeah, "the old ways" part got me thinking. Ever notice how the brown paper smell actually sticks to whatever you wrap with it? I've used it for lining drawers and bookshelves too, the musty scent keeps moths away better than lavender sachets. Plus the rough texture makes kids' glitter paint stick way better than slick printer paper.
