Had to pick between two dishwasher options at Home Depot

I was standing in the aisle trying to decide between a standard energy model and one that uses way less water per cycle. The efficient one cost $150 more upfront but said it saves 4 gallons each time. I went with the better one and my water bill dropped by $12 in just the first month in Denver. Anyone else notice a real difference after switching to a high efficiency appliance?

Four gallons a cycle adds up fast. Denver water rates make that $12 make sense.

Those Denver rates are no joke. My last bill here in Lakewood hit $94 and I barely watered the lawn. It sneaks up on you when you're just trying to keep the plants alive. Feels like every flush or load of laundry is a little tax. Solidarity on that $12 feeling way too real.
