Tried the West Side Market on a Tuesday instead of a weekend

I always thought weekends were the only time to go for the full experience. But last month I had a Tuesday off and figured I'd see what the hype was about with quieter days. Way less crowding at the produce stands, and one of the meat vendors actually took time to explain how to pick a good roast. I was skeptical it would feel dead, but it was still lively just more manageable. Has anyone else noticed certain vendors are more chatty on weekdays?

Ngl, I actually prefer the chaos on weekends. Feels more authentic.

Feels more authentic" - yeah, I get that. Reminds me of the time my neighbor's cat got loose during a block party and we spent an hour chasing it through everyone's yards. Total chaos, but honestly? That was the highlight of the whole summer.

Brooo YES! That cat thing is too real. We had a similar thing happen at my friend's BBQ last 4th of July, except it was his dog that got out and ran straight through the kiddie pool. Water and dog slobber everywhere, kids screaming, parents laughing, total madhouse. But I swear, those messy moments where nothing goes right are the ones you remember forever. Like, who's gonna talk about the perfectly grilled burgers five years later? Nah, it's the chaos that sticks with you. Weekend vibes are just better when stuff gets a little out of hand, honestly.
