Tried making pierogies from scratch last Sunday and my kitchen looked like a flour bomb went off

I've been buying Mrs. T's for years and figured how hard could it be? Grabbed some potatoes and cheese from the West Side Market. Dough was stickier than I expected. Ended up with like 30 pierogies that looked more like sad little dumplings. Tasted fine but my counters had flour everywhere. Anybody else try homemade and just go back to the frozen ones?

Didn't I read you can freeze the extra dough for next time?

Three dozen pierogies in one go and you're complaining? That's barely a batch. Try making 200 with your grandma yelling at you in Polish about the dough being too thin. I still make mine from scratch every Christmas and the flour mess is part of the charm.
