That $40 Harbor Freight clamp bent on day one, nearly crushed my monitor
I started riding my RadRunner from Lakewood down Detroit Ave to my job near Ohio City back in March. Yesterday my odometer crossed 4,000 miles, which feels crazy because I only planned to do it for a few weeks. That's about 14 miles a day round trip plus extra grocery runs and errands I used to drive. The real surprise was how much I saved on gas and parking, probably close to $800 in those 6 months. But also, I've dodged so many potholes and close calls on Clifton that I'm starting to think the west side needs better bike lanes way more than people admit. Anyone else track their daily ride numbers and get shocked by the total?
