Switched my commute from 90 to 71 after 2 years of stubbornness
Last month I sat in 45 minutes of backup near the West 117th exit and finally snapped, took 71 to 90 the next day and saved 12 minutes. Anyone else have a route they refused to give up on until it just wrecked their patience?

Man, my buddy Dave did this exact thing with the Shoreway for like three years. He swore 90 was faster even when we'd sit there watching 71 traffic just cruise by, and he'd get so mad when I pointed it out. Then one day he got stuck behind a wreck near Dead Man's Curve for almost an hour and that was it, he flipped to 71 the next week. Now he won't shut up about how much time he saves, which is honestly kind of annoying.
