Switched from lawn service to my own mower, saved $95 a month but lost my Saturdays
Back in March I finally canceled the lawn guys after 4 years. They charged $95 a month and honestly did a fine job, but I got tired of scheduling around them. Now I mow every Friday after work with a used Toro I grabbed off Facebook for $200. It takes me about 40 minutes, but then I gotta edge and blow too, so it's more like an hour and a half. Anyone else make the switch and end up regretting the time sink, or is it just me?

Ha, that first month feels great and then you start doing math on your Saturdays. I lasted two summers before I hired someone again.
