After 3 months of eyeing that $2,800 composite deck, I stuck with the beat-up metal stairs on W 73rd and honestly the morning sun hits better there, has anyone else kept the imperfect spot just for the routine?

Funny how we'll drop three grand on a deck but can't bring myself to fix the crooked step that's been there since 2016. My coffee spot is a dented lawn chair on a cracked driveway, the neighbors think I'm nuts. But the birds know my schedule now and that's worth more than any fancy timber. If it ain't broken, why fix it, right? Just wish the ants would get the memo about personal space.
