Paid $80 for that 'premium' lawn care subscription and my yard looks worse
Signed up for TurfTech back in April thinking it would save me time. They sprayed something that killed half my grass near the sidewalk and now I'm hand seeding patches. Anyone else get burned by those door-to-door lawn guys?

Dude, $80 and they killed your grass? That's rough. I mean, usually the "premium" just means they use a slightly different chemical mix, not that they know what they're doing with it. Hope the seeding goes okay, that sidewalk salt problem is a real pain.

That sidewalk salt stuff is brutal... I started using sand instead.

Oh man, your poor grass! That's just salt pouring on the wound after spending $80. I swear those companies know people will pay extra for the "premium" label, but half the time it's just fancier packaging. I've had good luck with the sand trick too, it's way cheaper and doesn't hurt anything if you accidentally scatter some on the lawn. Really hope your seeding works out, that snowy season must be brutal for keeping things alive.
