Finally figured out the Kamm's Corners traffic circle after 2 years

I swear people treat that thing like a free for all, not a roundabout. Been living over on Lorain near the park since 2022 and almost got hit three times by folks just flying in from the inner lane. Yesterday I watched a guy in a silver van stop dead in the middle to let someone in, and I finally realized half the drivers here just never learned how to yield properly. Anyone else notice the same thing at busy times like 5pm?

Play devil's advocate here but the circle actually works fine most of the time if people just commit. I've been driving through it for like 6 years now and the only close calls I've had were from people hesitating or changing their mind last second. That guy who stopped to let someone in was probably just being overly polite which throws off the whole flow. Your mileage may vary but I think the real problem is too many people treat it like a 4-way stop instead of just picking their spot and going.

Disagree completely. I've seen three near misses in the last two weeks alone because people just barrel in without checking their blind spots. The issue isn't hesitation, it's that the circle encourages a certain kind of aggressive driving where folks act like yielding is optional. Had a guy in a pickup practically ride my bumper through it yesterday because he didn't want to slow down for the car already in the circle. Polite drivers aren't the problem, it's the ones who treat it like a personal NASCAR track who make it sketchy.
