Edgewater street parking got way easier after they repaved the whole block
Since the city milled and repaved West 117th near the lakefront this spring, the giant dip that used to swallow half the parking lane is gone, so I can finally park without scraping my bumper, and I'm wondering if anyone else on the west side has noticed the same thing on their street.
Same thing over on my block off Detroit Ave, they fixed a stretch that had this awful pothole crater right by the curb. Parking there used to feel like threading a needle. Now it's smooth sailing and my shocks are thanking me.
