Unpopular opinion: the worst week I ever had on the job was when a customer stood over me the whole time, not the one where I found 3 nests and a cracked flue
Last Tuesday a guy in Ridgewood hovered 4 feet behind me for 90 minutes asking if I was "doing it right," and I got more done blind in a snowed-in house off Route 17 the week before than I did with him watching, so has anyone figured out a polite way to tell a homeowner to go make coffee?

Tried handing a guy a broom once so he'd feel useful. He just leaned on it and kept watching. Next time I'm bringing a fake phone call and walking out to the truck for 20 minutes.
