Dropped $150 on a better vac setup and wow

I been fighting with a shop vac for years on cleanouts, always clogging on fine ash and creosote. Finally bought a dedicated HEPA vac made for chimney work from a supply house in Denver. Cost me $150 but it handles the fine stuff no problem and the filter lasts way longer. First job with it I finished in half the time cause I wasn't stopped every 10 minutes unclogging the hose. Anyone else made the switch or still running a regular shop vac?

Shop vacs were never meant for this kind of work, it's like using a spoon to dig a ditch. I made the switch two years ago and never looked back. The fine ash just eats through regular filters and clogs everything up. That extra cash pays for itself in time saved and frustration avoided. Your back will thank you too.
