Drove 2 hours to look at a $19,000 farmhouse in Zanesville, walked in and knew in 30 seconds
The realtor sent pics of a 1902 four square on 2 acres and the listing said "needs some love" but when I opened the front door the whole back wall was bowed out about 6 inches and you could see daylight through the floor joists. I grabbed my 4 foot level out of the truck and laid it on the kitchen floor and there was a 2 inch gap under the middle. So my question is for the folks who have bought one of these: do you walk away when you see structure stuff like that, or do you get a quote first and use it to knock the price down?
