Why does nobody talk about using frozen veggies in stir fry?

I always used fresh veggies for stir fry. Spent like $8 a week on broccoli and bell peppers that went bad in 3 days. Then my buddy called me out for being wasteful. Told me to try frozen and I figured why not. Now I pay $2 for a big bag that lasts a month and the texture is totally fine after a hot skillet. Anyone else stick with fresh out of habit?

Yeah I was totally that guy too. I used to buy fresh broccoli and bell peppers every week and toss half of it when it got slimy. My roommate finally convinced me to try frozen peas and carrots in my stir fry and I felt kind of dumb for being stubborn about it. They cook up just fine in a hot pan and I don't have to plan my meals around when they'll go bad. Now I keep a bag of frozen mixed veg in the freezer and just toss a handful in when I need it.
